Getting Started
Have patient wash hands. Instruct to pull cap off of pen and wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab. Remove the protective paper tab from the pen needle and screw it onto the pen. Place a new needle for each injection. Pull off the outer and inner needle caps.
