Removing the Needle
Remove after each injection. Leaving a needle on or placing one on the pen far ahead of the injection can lead to leakage of insulin and/or air bubbles. To avoid needle sticks it is recommended NOT to recap the needle. Unscrew the needle and place in a “sharps” container. Place the cap on the pen for storage.
